Fresh Pomegranate & Grilled Chicken Salad

I eat leafy greens on a pretty consistent basis so it’s necessary for me to find varied ways to prepare and enjoy my salads.

This one did not disappoint.

Pomegranates are awesome because of their sweet, juicy flavor and they contain anti-aging, cholesterol lowering, immune boosting, and memory improving properties.

Add the seeds of this fruit to your next salad for a delicious treat.

3-4 cups Fresh Spinach Leaves

¼ Pound Grilled Chicken Breast, Diced or Shredded

1 Pomegranate Fruit

2 Slices Turkey Bacon

2-3 Tbsp. your Favorite Dressing (Optional)

1 Tsp. Himalayan Pink Salt

1 Tbsp. Cracked Black Pepper

1 ½ Tbsp. Ground Turmeric

This salad was pretty fast and easy.

I grilled and cut my chicken stove-top in a skillet adding turmeric to taste.

I followed the instructions of the following video that I found on YouTube for cutting and removing the edible seeds from my pomegranate:

In a separate skillet I cooked my turkey bacon until done, per package instructions.

Finally, I layered the ingredients on my plate, adding salt, pepper, and dressing to taste. Enjoy!
