In 2016 I decided to drastically change my lifestyle. The most prominent change was my switch to a ketogenic lifestyle; as a result I lost 45 pounds and was in the best shape of my life. As my love for preparing fresh, low-carb, healthy and delicious meals strengthened, so did my desire to share my process and results. Family and friends would comment on my weight loss, and inquire about how they could achieve the same. When I told them about my way of eating, many would remark about how difficult it sounded. That sparked my longing to show others how easy and fulfilling it could be. I launched my site and it truly changed everything. I’ve been able to connect with and inspire more people than I’d ever imagined.

In 2018, my life changed again – my husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby boy. During my pregnancy and my postpartum period I did not remain faithful to my lifestyle. I resumed a standard American diet (yikes) and as a result experienced significant weight gain. I knew that I wanted to return to my recipes and relaunch my site – but this time it needed to be different. I needed to have a space that has room for all of me. I’ve always had an interest in all things creative. Design, music, photography, art, film, literature, and fashion have captivated me for as long as I can remember. I’m also a mom and a wife. My love for wellness extends beyond just my diet. It also includes running, yoga, meditation, reading, friendship, and anything that resonates with my soul.

My site is now a celebration of all things that make me, me. In addition to my recipes, I’ve added sections to share other aspects of my style and personality. My sincere desire is that you can find something that you need, and leave inspired. Inspired to try a new recipe. Inspired to read a new book, or take a new risk. Inspired to think outside of the box and flex your own creativity. Inspire to look beyond the things that you thought were holding you back. Let’s live with ease, love, laughter, and freedom.
