I don’t know about you, but when I think about picking up keto-friendly or low-carb snacks and drinks, the Dollar Tree is not a store that immediately comes to mind. I’m usually more of a Central Market or HEB gal, as you may know if you’ve seen my keto Cream of Asparagus Soup Recipe
To be honest, I tend to associate the Dollar Tree with those amazing DIY projects I see plastered all over Pinterest. Am I the only one who will pin them, but never find the time to actually complete them? Ugh. I can dream, though. During this past holiday season, it seems like I found myself in a different shopping center like every other day. This led to me wandering into a Dollar Tree one afternoon to kill a few minutes before my next errand. As I roamed the aisles, I was pleasantly surprised at just how many keto and low-carb snacks and drinks they had stocked. Many of us are on the go daily, and it’s nice to be able to pick up something quick to keep you going. I thought I’d share a few finds with you all just in case you’re ever shopping and hangry and there’s a Dollar Tree nearby. The best part is that each snack is only a buck!
Jerky
Jerky is a keto staple, and for good reason. It’s usually low or no-carb, and packed with protein. Here are two options I found:

Next time you’re shopping, considering picking up one of these snacks to get you through to your next meal. That way you’re not left hungry, irritated, and tempted to pick up fries from the drive-thru. I’m just speaking from experience, y’all.
