But, we’re going to have more control over how much salt is in our food and not rely solely on packaged blends. So the next time you find yourself out of taco seasoning, fret not. No need for an extra grocery store run. It’s likely that you have everything you need right there on your spice rack.
Why Make My Own Taco Seasoning
To me, the biggest benefit of making your own spice blends is being able to control the sodium content in your homemade food. You can’t really do that with the packaged stuff. You’re also avoiding any preservatives that they use in the store-bought versions. Use this recipe wherever you would normally use taco seasoning, but add your own salt to taste or per the recipe instructions.
